After the steel is clean and ready to coat:
  • Prime, or paint – dry time 2 to 6 hours (Storm Greeter application is finished during the 1st two hours)
  • The crew goes away for a while
  • The crew comes back
  • Paint – dry time 2 to 6 hours
  • The crew goes away for a while
  • The crew comes back
  • Crew either adds another coat or they backfill
  • Repeat the process in 10 to 15 years

Storm Greeter

After the steel is clean and ready to coat:
  • Prime – 20 minute dry time
  • Preheat – 15 to 20 minutes
  • Coat and heat – 15 to 20 minutes
  • Coat and heat to achieve more thickness if desired
  • Continue heating to cure – 4 to 8 minutes
  • Backfill
  • Repeat this process in 30 to 50 years
